Knitting
I am not a knitter, but my sister Rachel is. I wish I could knit. I have tried numerous times but I can never get the hang of it. I once made a scarf but it was uneven and lumpy and ugly. So, I leave the knitting to my sister. She has knit me several pair of socks which I love. She makes it look so easy and quick, but for me it's not. I guess we all have different gifts.

Wow, hand knitted socks are a treasure. I saw some at a bazaar this weekend and they were $60 a pair! They look pretty complicated and advanced, so I'm sure they're worth it if one has that kind of budget for socks. Much better to have that talent in the family. (-:
i have a pair aunt rachel made me 3 or 4 years ago, i think, and they've lasted through lots of trips. i
I had a very nice pair from Racchel that shrunk to my wife's size after she washed them; coincidence?... I think not!
